Ukie’s Digital Schoolhouse powered by PlayStation, sponsored by SEGA and Warwickshire County Council uses play-based learning to engage the next generation of pupils and teachers with the Computing curriculum.
Workshops are hosted in our fully resourced 30 PC network classroom and taught by our appointed Digital Schoolhouse Lead Teacher (DSLT) David Wicks. We also visit primary schools to tailor creative learning sessions. Mr Wicks is empowered, confident and inspired to deliver Creative Computing in classrooms across our catchment area, providing free online adaptable resources, ingenious training and learning opportunities, all underpinned by academic research and education philosophies. Our vision is to bridge the gap between industry and education and to prepare the next generation for a digital age.
