Kineton High School’s Sixth Form is an inspiring environment for young people. The Sixth Form is the culmination of a student’s school career, a time which should be both academically challenging but also richly rewarding and highly enjoyable. Our Sixth Form offers a broad variety of courses for a wide range of abilities and interests – it is vibrant and successful and continues to achieve excellent results.
A commitment to study is a vital aspect of life in the Sixth Form, but being a student here is about more than that, it is about developing the whole individual. We offer many extra-curricular activities and a variety of leadership opportunities. Our last Ofsted report recognised the strength of our Sixth Form and the contribution Sixth Form students made to the wider school.
‘Students make good progress during their time in Sixth Form.’ ‘Sixth Form students’ personal development and well being are good with particular strengths resulting from a good range of leadership and management opportunities.’
We welcome students from across a wide geographic area. There are approximately 115 students in the Sixth Form many of whom have completed their GCSEs at Kineton but each year we also warmly welcome a number from other schools.
Students at Kineton High School and Sixth Form celebrated some fantastic A level results in 2017. The percentage of A*/A grades continues to rise at 20.5%.
We believe our Sixth Form is your stepping stone to the future. We constantly strive to provide the highest standard of Sixth Form education and know our students leave us as well-rounded individuals, and as the citizens of the future, well prepared for 21st century life.
