Sixth Form Enrichment Opportunities

Today’s universities and employers seek well-rounded individuals who have explored a range of experiences to develop their skills and character.  To this end, Kineton High School offers a rich programme of extra-curricular activities.  Students are encouraged to participate in a range of opportunities that build skills and provide valuable lessons for life.   All students in Year 12 also undertake a week of Work Experience relevant to their studies and future career.

Other enrichment opportunities can include:

– The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme

– British Science Crest Awards

– UK Mathematics Trust Challenges

– Geography and History field trips (recent trips include Shrewsbury and the Battlefields of North France)

– Language and Cultural trips to places such as New York and Granada

– Visits to National Museums and Galleries

– An annual Ski Trip

– Exchange visits with Sanghamitta College in Sri Lanka

– World Wide Experience Challenge trip to Shamwari Game Reserve in South Africa

– An active KHS branch of Amnesty International
