Sixth Form Pastoral Care
Although our Sixth Formers demonstrate increasing maturity and independence in their studies, we continue to provide the strong pastoral care that, we believe, underpins their success.
All students are fully supported throughout their time at Kineton by our Sixth Form Pastoral and Learning Manager and Sixth Form team. Students meet daily with their personal tutor and subject teachers keep all tutors up to date with concerns or praise.
We believe that each individual is equally important; we are committed to offering quality opportunities to all enabling every individual to flourish during their time with us.
This includes a comprehensive programme of support for entry to university, an apprenticeship or employment, tailored to the needs of the individual student.
We pride ourselves on our relationships with parents, and welcome any contact from home. We run a range of information and consultation evenings throughout the year to discuss progress and to help keep parents involved.
Sixth form students are allocated to one of our four Houses named after famous British Olympians: Adlington, Ainslie, Hoy and Redgrave. Students play an important role in leading and promoting their House and supporting on-going House activities and games to inspire all of our students to work as part of a winning team. Achievements, progress and service to the school continue to be rewarded with House points and in the Sixth Form competition is fierce for the coveted House Cup.
