2020 GCSE (or equivalent) outcomes:
The Basics
Grade 4+ in Eng and Maths: 76.1% (Compared to the National Figure of 66% in 2019)
Grade 5+ in Eng and Maths: 50.7% (National Figure of 44% in 2019)
EBACC (suite of GCSEs that include English, Maths, Science, and a minimum of one subject from History OR Geography AND a Modern Foreign Language)
50% of last year’s students studied the EBACC suite (Compared to 41% Nationally in 2019)
41% achieved at least grade 4+ in all these subjects (much higher than the 2019 National Figure of 25%)
24.6% achieved at least grade 5+ in all these subjects (Nationally 17.5% in 2019)
