Year 9 enjoyed working with Mr Lewis this week to create metal and woodwork items
Enrichment Week, which takes place every year in July, is a week when all students have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of exciting and meaningful memorable experiences, as well as the chance to study cross-curricular themes. We strongly believe this allows every child to build on and further develop vital skills to enable them to achieve their personal best.
During the week, Years 7 to 9 go on a number of external trips and visits as well as participating in several in-school activities.
Students in Years 10 and 12 students use this time for work experience placements which provides them with an opportunity to further develop their transferable skills and qualities to enable them to be successful in their future careers.
Students have enjoyed their last day in Cornwall with more activities at Fistral Beach.

Students really enjoyed taking part in a wide range of activities including Archery; Capture the Flag; Dodgeball and Rounders.
Year 8 students enjoyed spending the day at the Natural History Museum in London.
They had a guided tour on the Wars of the Roses and took part in role play to explore the key events in final fall of the Plantagenets and rise of the Tudors.

Year 9 visited London’s Apollo theatre to watch the bewitching stage performance of Wicked the Musical.

Day 2 - A great day surfing at Mawgan Porth
Year 8 took a step back in time when they visited the Black Country Living Museum.
On Monday 11th July A Level Art and Photography students travelled to Tintagel, Cornwall for a 5-day cultural and creative trip.
Day 1- students and staff travelled to Truro, Cornwall for a 5 day activity based trip.
Students in Years 7 and 9 have enjoyed a very warm and fun filled day at Cotswold Wildlife Park.
On Monday a group of brilliant Year 9 students arrived at school armed with bags of ingredients to cook all day.
Some of our Year 10 students visited residents at Kineton Manor Nursing Home on Monday 11th July. They decorated cakes, delivered them, spent time with residents and even entertained them on the piano.
Year 7 students had the opportunity to learn about a number of animals through engaging hands-on encounters in school provided by Zoolab Rangers
