School Closure Information
What to do if you’re feeling worried while school is closed.
If you feel unsafe at home, or feel worried about a friend or sibling during the current situation, here are some things you may be able to do to get the help you need:
- Text a trustworthy family member or safe adult who may be able to help you
- Call Childline 0800 1111 and talk through how you are felling and your concerns
- On weekdays between 9am and 5pm there will be someone to speak with on: 07342063038
- Email one of the Designated Safeguarding Leads at school: firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com and in the subject box put ‘safeguarding’.
If you feel there is an immediate safeguarding issue please contact the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) on 01926 414144 or contact the Police (999).
Free School Meals
Vouchers for the fortnight beginning 23.3.20 have been sent to all families. In the first week, these were in the form of Tesco vouchers sent directly to homes (or collected in person) and on the second week via email directly.
On 5th April, the government decided that FSM will continue during the Easter break in recognition of the challenging circumstances that many families find themselves in. Families entitled to FSM are advised to claim £30 from the Warwickshire FSM scheme by telephoning 0800 4081448 or 01926 359182, or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
From the 20th April, the school will use the Government voucher scheme set up since the start of the Crisis and now ‘live’. The vouchers for FSM will be emailed directly to parents and carers.
Please note, if you have changed your email address or think the one we hold on record may be inaccurate, it’s vital that you inform the school as soon as possible.
